CAncellation Policy

A $50 CANCELLATION FEE WILL BE REQUIRED TO TERMINATE MEMBERSHIPS EARLY. To cancel a membership an email must be sent to service@fitnessworkslodi.com 30 days prior to desired end date. Accounts will be charged a pro-rated amount based on membership type and date of email sent. Without this email we do not consider accounts cancelled and will be charged accordingly. Memberships with an overdue unpaid balance may be subject to early termination at FWL‘s discretion. Membership holds are only available for 6 months at a time. Memberships that are inactive for over 6 months may be subject to contract termination. Members with a past due balance may be cancelled at FWL‘s discretion. Late payments will result in a late fee of $30.

Code of ethics

At FWL, we are committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for all members and  staff. We believe in promoting health and fitness while fostering a sense of community. To achieve this,  we ask that all members and staff adhere to the following code of conduct and ethics:

  • Treat all fellow members, staff, and guests with courtesy and respect. 
  • Avoid any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying based on race, gender, age, disability,  religion, or any other characteristic.
  • Prioritize safety by following gym rules and guidelines. 
  • Report any unsafe conditions or equipment to gym staff immediately.
  • Maintain proper personal hygiene to ensure a clean and comfortable workout environment.
  • Use deodorant and clean workout attire.
  • Wipe down equipment after use with provided sanitizing materials. 
  • Dispose of trash and used towels in designated areas.
  • Share equipment and be mindful of others waiting. 
  • Avoid excessive noise, grunting, or dropping weights that may disrupt others or damage  equipment.
  • Adhere to the gym’s dress code policy. 
  • Wear appropriate workout attire and footwear.
  • Secure personal belongings in provided lockers or designated areas. 
  • Do not leave personal items in workout areas.
  • Limit cell phone use in workout areas to ensure the safety and focus of yourself and others.
  • Take calls and texts in designated areas.
  • Refrain from soliciting or promoting products or services to other members without permission. We have card holders up front for current members to place their business cards.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all gym policies, including membership rules and hours  of operation. 
  • Every person entering needs to check in, either with their key fob or manually with front desk  staff. Do not sneak guests in. All visitors must have active membership. Day and week passes are  available for guests. 
  • Do not walk behind the front desk door. If you need something please wait for our front desk  staff.
  • Report any violations of this code of conduct, safety concerns, or incidents to gym staff  promptly
  • Embrace diversity and inclusion within our gym community. 
  • Be mindful of different fitness levels and offer support and encouragement to all members.
  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of other members and staff. This includes taking  unwanted photos of members. 
  • Do not share personal information without consent.
  • Take responsibility for your own actions and fitness goals. 
  • Seek assistance from staff when needed.
  • Violations of this code of conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or termination of  membership, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.
